The whole world uses internet in their daily lives. To some people the internet is their best friend and then there are some whom don’t even know what the internet even is. For those who don’t now what the internet is, here is a brief description.
The Internet is a worldwide collection of computer networks that is used to exchange data. Through telephone wires and satellite links, people using the internet can do a variety of things.
- They can exchange electronic mail (email). This permits you to receive and send mails to others. It is a great source of communication.
- File transfers allow you to save or upload videos, songs, documents and much more from your computer.
- The World Wide Web (" WWW" or the "Web"). The largest, fastest growing acitivity on the Internet.
- It permits your computer to log onto another computer and use it as if you were there.

How does it work?
The internet is a fantastic simple looking system. You type in whatever you want and you get it, but just a like a sleek cellphone and small cars there is some engineering behind to make it possible. Here is a brief description of how the internet works. The Internet mainly works by servers. These servers work all day and night, they are hooked up to a bunch or cables that bring information back and forth.
